I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. His was a bright shining light in the chronicles of Georgia’s architectural history- its promotion and its preservation. The depth and breadth of his knowledge about the buildings across the state will never be matched. My sincere condolences to the family.
I was pleased to work with Bill when he was director of Historic Augusta, Inc. many years ago. A great architectural historian and friend of preservation.
