William Patrick Light
Patrick Light, 57, of Atlanta, passed away on March 17, 2017. He was the second son of Bill and Marianne Light. He grew up in Buckhead, where his widowed Mom raised him in a loving home and kept him close to her heart every day of her life. He attended North Fulton High School and Georgia State University, and had a career as a medical practice administrator. He is survived by his brother, Mike, and wife Tracy, of Braselton, Georgia, and will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbors. There will not be a service, so please consider remembering Patrick with a donation to the Atlanta Humane Society (atlantahumane.org) in memory of him and his pal, a cat named Willie.

We spent many evenings after high school together and those are cherished memories.

These days one can’t say this about too many people but Patrick was truly a fine Southern gentleman! We had great fun talking “Georgia History” and telling ancestor tales. Patrick had many friends at Unity North Atlanta. Our LGBTQ group had a little ceremony to honor his memory and now have a maple tree to remind us of the happy times Craig and Patrick spent at Unity. I see you smiling, Patrick! Miss you lots. Nita
