He played in the Atlanta Jr. Golf Association AJGA, once winning the Father and Son tournament, and played in American Jr. Golf tournaments around the country. In 1985, at age 12, during the grand championship of AJGA at Berkeley Hills Golf Club, Brady had a hole-in-one on the 4th hole of 132 yards. When he was 16, he placed ninth in the Future Masters in Dothan AL where Stewart Cink won first. He was invited and played with his father in the Father and Son US National Open at Grenelefe, FL. Of 180 teams they were first round leaders and finished fourth.

Brady loved music, travel, animals and life. He was always willing to take in a stray dog or cat. He opened his home for hospitality and shelter and at all times could be depended upon to help a friend in need.

I was greatly saddened to hear Brady was gone. Bill & Maribeth I cannot imagine what you have gone through. You are in my prayers.
Brady and I were best friends in middle school. I, regrettably, didn’t know how to maintain friendships when we moved (often) and that time it was in the middle of 8th grade. However, he remained a legend (and influence) throughout my life coming up often as someone who would appreciate a harmless prank or a little bit of silliness. I remember him casually opening gas tank doors on our way into the mall once… it my sooo funny to my adolescent self…We played golf everyday of that summer between 7th n 8th and started what i credit as my first business: diving for golfballs in the lake and reselling them on Sundays…I am sorry that I tried to reconnect too late. Rest in peace, buddy… may all your par threes be hole in ones 🕳. ————Your old friend, Eric
