  3. Bob Kircher says:

Many years ago (too many to count) I met Wendy one late afternoon at Little Corona beach in Corona del Mar. I was walking down the beach with my trusty guitar on my back and she was sitting with a bunch of friends. She saw me and ran over to invite me to join them. I intended to spend only a song or two worth of time, but I had such a good time I stayed until late As the night ended, we exchanged phone numbers. It was the start of a long and wonderful friendship. We stayed in touch until the later years. Letters and emails kept us connected. Wendy was beautiful, witty, intelligent and filled with boundless optimism. She was one of a kind. I’ll always have a spot for her in my heart.
