Virginia Carolyn Ferguson DAVIES 1942-2010 affectionately known as Ginny leaves her beloved husband Lee, two sons Robert and Elizabeth, Andrew and Jenni, two grandsons Carter and Finn, her sister Linda and Ted, and many nieces and nephews. She has a legacy of happy memories of her life well-lived and shared with her family and friends. Ginny passed away peacefully with her family beside her at Embracing Hospice on May …
Ginny was born in London, Ontario, Canada and moved with her husband and young sons to Dallas in 1979. They enjoyed living there and then in Boca Rotan, Florida before moving to Cumming, Georgia in 1993.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Ginny had a lovely sense of humour, was creative with her several sewing machines, was a talented craftsperson, and a gracious hostess. She was not one to complain even when she was diagnosed with MS in her mid-forties. Through her strength of character and positive happy outlook on life, she was a positive role model to everyone around her.
Ginny was always involved helping others with projects. All forms of creative advices and just doing what was needed.
The family is thankful for the care given Ginny by the hospital doctors and staff and the many friends who caringly sat for hours at the hospital with Ginny. It is a comfort to know that so many people cared. Ginny will always be in the hearts of all who loved her. A Celebration of her life will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.
