Terry Geronimi

Terry John Geronimi, 71, passed away at home on April 18^th, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia, of natural causes.

Terry was born on December 6, 1953, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, to Lois A. (Osby) and John A. “Jack” Geronimi. He graduated from Parker High School Janesville, Wisconsin in 1972. Terry went on to earn a degree in Mechanical Drafting from Moraine Park Technical Institute in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Terry will be remembered for his love of dogs, a green thumb that could bring any garden to life, his irreverent sense of humor, and his enduring passion for music. After moving to Georgia in the late 1970s, he and a friend ran a plant nursery by day and immersed themselves in the vibrant Athens music scene by night.

He is survived by his son, Ayrio Cronin; Ayrio’s mother, Diane Cronin; and Ayrio’s children, Laureli and Brooks Cronin. He also leaves behind his siblings, Joni Geronimi Cullen (Eric) and Jeanine Wirth, both of Janesville; Paul Geronimi of Van Buren, Michigan; his stepmother, Marlene Geronimi of Janesville; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Jack.

Memorial contributions in Terry’s name may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Al-Anon, in care of the 12 & 12 Drop-in Center, 402 W. Delavan Dr., Janesville, WI 53545.
