  1. Lori Camp says:

I was so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I have such fond memories of her. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and she was such a sweet person. I used to attend a Bible study at her house. She was a wonderful hostess and I remember going to weddings at church that she had catered. I am so sorry. I know she will be sorely missed but am confident that we will all see her again someday.
    Much love to the family,
    Lori Camp

  2. Sharon Lyle says:

I have known Shirley since I was 16 years old. My twin sister is married to her youngest son. I loved Shirley! She always treated me like one of her own. You could not be thin skinned around Shirley. She always said exactly what she was thinking it didn’t matter if you wanted her opinion or not she was going to give it to you regardless. I could always tease with her and tell her to mind her own business. If you had the pleasure to know the Menard’s then your world was a better place. They are a rare family to find. They put family before anything else. Shirley and Dick define the word marraige because they loved each other through thick and thin. I feel lucky that not only did they love my twin sister like she was their own daughter but they loved me as well. I will miss you Shirley you always made me smile. I love you . We lost an angel on earth when you passed away but God has gained an angel in Heaven. Sharon Lyle

  3. Terri Brennan says:

Shirley Menard will be greatly missed! She was a wonderful cook, mother and wife. I’ve been best friends with her son Chris and daughter in law Karen for fifteen years. Our kids went to school together at CCS, and Chris and I worked together at Clayton State then Kabobs where he designed our website. The Menards are a great family and a very dear to my heart! Dick, Karen, Chris, CJ, Bo, I love you all and am here for you!!
