Geri, I don’t know if you and Kelly will remember me. I used to work with Wayne. He trained me how to be an examiner. Wayne was a wonderful man who always made us laugh. I am a better person having known him. I was very sorry to learn of his passing. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Lisa
Geri and Kelli,
Wayne was my best friend at the FHLB/OTS. We had such good times working together all those years. It is a tribute to him that remembrances from former colleagues were so plentiful. He fought his dreaded cancer to the very end. I admire him SO much for that. I feel empty that he is gone but know he is in a better place….and is screaming “War Eagle” at all the ‘Bama alums in Heaven. I will always love and miss him.
Geri, Kelli
Wayne will be sorely missed. I am so happy that we got to spend some time together before it was time to go. He was the best and always happy to help. We’ve had some good times together and I have nothing but fond memories of him, things that make me smile when I think about him. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Let’s celebrate his wonderful life.

Gerri and Kelli: All my condolences and best wishes at this difficult time. I worked with Wayne for many years, and I found him to be a gentleman and a friend at all times. He thought the world of you two, and his sense of humor was enjoyed by all who knew him. God bless you both.
Gerri and Kelly
My heart is sad to hear of Wayneâs passing. He was such a great mentor and friend. Always willing to help in any way, but most of all, he kept us entertained with his awesome sense of humor. I am never with co-workers from those days that a great Wayne story does not come up to keep us laughing. I never really had a chance to get to know you two personally but Wayne was so proud of you both. He constantly talked about all of Kellyâs achievements and shared pictures of his beautiful daughter. May you find comfort in the memories. âWar Eagleâ!
Kelly- Our prayers are with you and your family. -Stephany & Samm Darden
