Robert Alan Dubrof

Robert Alan Dubrof, “Bob”, age 72, of Atlanta Georgia, died on July 4, 2015 at his residence after a four year battle with cancer. Mr. Dubrof is a native of Dalton, Georgia. Mr. Dubrof was graduated from Georgia Military Academy in 1961 and from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966. While at the University of Georgia Mr. Dubrof was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity where he served as pledge master. After graduating from UGA he served in the United States Army from 1966 through 1968 as a lieutenant at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe SHAPE in Paris, France and Mons Belgium. Following his military service, Mr. Dubrof spent his career as a salesman in mens’ apparel and automobile sales. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Dubrof and Lillian Specter. He is survived by his wife Candace Dubrof, beloved dog, Ziva, brother Jerry Dubrof and wife Judy, and sister, Annis Dinnerman of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, David Dubrof of Atlanta, Georgia, Joseph Dubrof and wife Julie of San Antonio, Texas, Cydnee Dubrof and husband, Rob McDonough of Atlanta Georgia, Susan Thomas and Allyson Szafranski of Chicago, Illinois, and Jodi McCleer and husband John of Roswell, Georgia and twelve great nieces and nephews. Final arrangements will be conducted by the Cremation Society of Georgia. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
