Rima McGraw Whittington
Rima McGraw Whittington, age 52, of Woodstock, GA., passed away on December 11th, 2022. Rima earned a civil engineering degree from the University of Jakarta, and she worked as an engineer for a few years after marrying David McGraw and moving to Atlanta in 1996. Rima was entrepreneurial and creative – she was the owner of Woodstock Flowers where she spent 10 years creating beautiful floral arrangements.
Rima was born in Jakarta, Indonesia to parents, Sudarsono (Father) and Kartini (Mother). She is survived by her mother, Kartini, and by her husband of 3 years, Rick Whittington of Woodstock, and her children, whom she adored, Miranti McGraw of Woodstock and Michael McGraw of Nashville, Tennessee. Rima also leaves behind three sisters, Rika and Risfa of Indonesia and Risti of Harrah, Oklahoma.
Rima was always a high-energy person who loved being the brightest light in the room. Among her many talents was the love of music, and she was happy to sing at any gathering. Rima was recognized as the Top 25 Most Influential Asian Women in Georgia, but she said her greatest accomplishment was raising Miranti and Michael, her two wonderful children.
