Patrice Mills Burdett Pat passed away on July 21, 2015 after a brave battle with dementia. Services will be held on July 24, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at All Saints’ Episcopal Church.
An Atlanta native, Pat attended West Fulton High School and Oglethorpe University. She married H.S. “Byrd” Burdett on August 6, 1955. The couple moved to Brookwood Hills in the 1960s and raised their three children on Camden Road with a fabulous network of friends and neighbors. After Byrd’s death in 1996, Pat spent her time working out at Ansley Golf Club, playing weekly bridge games, and traveling with her daughters across the U.S. and Europe. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Pat was also a successful real estate agent and an active civic and church volunteer.
Pat is survived by her children, son Michael L. Nik Burdett Laura and daughters Rene Burdett Wilson Craig and Marci Burdett Reed Robert all of Atlanta and her brother, John L. Mills Lynn of Florida. She also has four grandsons who were the true loves of her life, Rob Burdett, Ryan Burdett Holly and William and Patrick Wilson along with her beloved cat, Rhett Butler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Patrice Burdett’s honor to All Saints’ Episcopal Church 634 W. Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30308 or to the American Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org.

    Nik,Marci,Renee& Families, Pat & Byrd were dear friends here in Bwood Hill. We played on tennis team together, bridge,etc. One of my fondest memories is when you & my children were young & we were on vacation “someplace” all together. I didn’tknow Pat had dementia. I still live on Woodcrest.Jack, also had dementia & died June 28,2014. My thoughts & prayers are with you.I’m at my house in Highlands,N.C & will not be in Atlanta for service but will be thinking of each of you. Marge Henson
