To Joyce’s family, I was heartbroken to find that she passed away. I had known her since elementary school through our years at Ohio State University. Monica was my flower girl in 1973. I have so many fond memories. May God continue to bless you.
I am broken hearted to learn just yesterday 2/23/21 through Rosalind’s post that Joyce has passed. I had been trying to reach Joyce for over a year via cell phone, Facebook and mail.
Joyce ‘s mother, Mrs Frances and my mother Dora Jordan had been friends since WWII both now deceased. Our mothers met at Curtis Wright in Columbus,Ohio making parts for war planes. Joyce and I were born a year apart. Our friendship spanning 70 years. Later we all moved cross country with day to day life hindering regular communication.
Monica and Danielle, I extend my heartfelt sympathy
and condolences. I loved your mother like a sister.
She will be forever greatly missed.
