My heart is broken, just broken for Mark, Emily, Ben, and their m-i-l/grandmother. What a fantastic, wise spirit Nancy was. Very grateful that I had the opportunity to know her and receive her pastoral care while she served at Northminster Presbyterian Church.
Nancy was one of the most understanding, generous people I have ever known. She touched so many people with her kind, good nature. We will miss her so much, but her spirit will always stay with us.
Mark, Emily and Ben–
Bill and I send you our deepest sympathy. Nancy was indeed a special woman. We were neighbors on Seneca for about 7 years, and Nancy gave the most sincere kindness and friendship to all in our family, especially our elderly mothers who lived with us. May your beautiful memories of Nancy sustain you as you mourn.
I am just heartbroken to hear of Nancy’s passing.
I work at the Waldorf School and I knew Nancy from being a parent at the school.
We would always chat and she was so inspiring.
And when we’d run into one another in Decatur over the yearr, we’d always stop to chat.
