Michael Lonn Kloster

Michael Lonn Kloster, died January 16, 2017 in Atlanta, GA. after a 7 month battle with brain cancer.

Mr. Kloster was born May 3, 1962  in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Atlanta in 1978. He worked his own business for 30 years as a landscape maintenance professional, and serviced residential homes and businesses throughout the Atlanta Metro area.  He was also employed by the United Parcel Service for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and sharing these adventures with family and friends.  He was known for his generosity, helpfulness, love of family and his strong and tireless work ethic.

Mr. Kloster was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Kloster, and a daughter, Kaitlyn Kloster. He is survived by three children, Rachel, Gabrielle and Michael, his father, Gilbert (Jayne) Kloster, brother Peter (Allison) Kloster, sisters Kim (Greg) VanAntwerp, Kayla (Jamie) Ledyard, JonVieve (Charlie) Hill, Alejandra (Jason) Garofalo, Christiana  (Josh)Tarpley, all of the Atlanta area, brother, Corbett (Katherine) Kloster of Clarkesville, GA, sister, Michelle (Kevin) Shifrin of Boston ,MA., many brothers and sisters-in law, as well as multiple nephews and nieces.

Mr. Kloster was cremated on January 18, 2017.  Per his wishes, a private ceremony and memorial were conducted in remembrance and celebration of his life, and the positive impact he had on all those who knew and loved him.
