Mary Elizabeth Ferguson

Mary Elizabeth Woolsey Ferguson, age 85, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022. Mary was born in Aliquippa, PA, the daughter of the late James and Henrietta Woolsey; preceded in death by her brothers Floyd (Betty) and Russell (Joyce) Woolsey. Mary was married for 55 years to the love of her life, the late Bruce Eugene Ferguson. She was a wonderful mother and wife who dearly loved her family. She was an active member of the community and Chamblee First United Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her children Jane Stewart, Beth (Mark) Frank and Jim (Allison) Ferguson, all from the Atlanta area; six beloved grandchildren, two wonderful great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her in home caregivers, Gloria Walker, and Claudette Solomon, as well as the entire team at Greenwood Place, who loved and cared for Mary over the past several years.

A family memorial service is planned on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Chamblee First United Methodist Church.
