My heart goes out to Carmen’s family during this time of sadness and loss. Carmen was a sweet spirit that brought joy to everything she touched. Through our friendship at Atlanta Unity, I was able to interact with Carmen a lot over the past few years. She is a radiant light and I am blessed to have shared these years with her.
Our church family at Atlanta Unity extends our deepest sympathy to Carmen’s family and friends. Carmen shared her lovely light with us for some time, and we are blessed to have known her.
May the memories and the joy shared with Carmen help friends and family in this time of loss. Carmen was a special human being and her light will continue to shine trough all her loved ones.
Carmen was a dear person who was kind, loving, and very thoughtful. She had great integrity and love for her work with special gifts she gave to so many. I am blessed to have known Carmen and to have had her as my co-worker and friend. My prayers are to her family she loved and for whom she was so proud.
Her sweet spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew her. May the peace and rest she now has bring comfort to Med, Monica, and Alex as they go forward without her. Every breath is a prayer. Godspeed Carmen, until we meet again.
Those of us who knew and loved Carmen will have her forever in our hearts. She was a bright light in the world and we will miss her so very much. Our memories of her in Women’s Circle and on the trip to Israel are priceless and contribute to love and peace now and always.

My best memories of Carmen were in my vocal workshops at Atlanta Unity. She had a soft-spoken manner, but your could hear the Light in her Soul through her voice when she was singing. It was beautiful! Whenever I remember her, I will hear her singing, “Ave Maria.” I wish her well in her next experience and she will be greatly missed! Much love, Rob
Please accept my sincerest sympathies. I worked closely with Carmen for a short time when she assisted me in a Title 3 monitoring of a district, but as brief as it was, Carmen impressed me as intelligent, gracious, honorable, and trustworthy. Immediately, I formed the opinion that Carmen was a genuine person and a caring individual! We will all miss her.
We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you all
