Margaret Mills Roeding

MARGARET MILLS ROEDING died April 27, 2018.
She was born on July 2, 1928 in Pennsylvania, to Robert L. Mills and Margaret Haddock Mills. Margaret attended college at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with a bachelor degree in teaching and home economics.
Margaret married her college sweetheart, Frederick F. Roeding on April 19, 1952, and had two children, David Thomas Roeding and Linda Karen Roeding. She lived in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, until 1972, when she moved with her family to Kennesaw, Georgia, where she resided until 2013, then she moved to Peachtree City, Georgia, where she lived until her death.
Margaret and her Husband, Fred were founding members of Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, Georgia, where she enjoyed years of being involved with the alter guild. She was also a member of Pinetree Country Club, in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Margaret loved musicals, was an avid hockey fan when the Atlanta Flames came to Atlanta, Georgia, and she had a true love for animals – especially her own fur babies – Friskie, Spotty, Nikki-Wolf, and Bailey.
She is survived by her son, David Thomas Roeding; her daughter, Linda Karen Roeding Wells; her daughter-in-law, Regina Roeding; 4 granddaughters – Candace L. Summerall, Heather Lynn Roeding, Ashley Lauren Wells, and Misty Dawn Yannetta and by several great grandchildren – Karsten, Holden, Selah, and Hannah.
Services will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, Georgia, at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 3, 2018.
