Margaret Micki Elizabeth Quinn Styles
Margaret Micki Elizabeth Quinn Styles, 72, loving wife of 48 years to James DeForest Styles, died May 29, 2012, after a sudden illness. She was born May 11, 1940, in Davenport, Iowa, to the late Raymond Bill and Hazel Bobbie Quinn. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in DeWitt, Iowa, and from the University of Iowa as an x-ray technician. Micki worked as an x-ray technician in her early years and later transitioned to a career in real estate. She was active in the Rivermont Women’s Association and the Atlanta Realtors Association. She loved spending time with friends and family, and she was a very gifted artist, leaving many paintings as her legacy. In addition to her husband, Micki is survived by three children; Jay, Paige and Hunter Patti Styles; four grandchildren Jackie, Jake, Connor and a new grandbaby due in July; four siblings Daniel Susan Quinn of Lexington, Ky., Stephen Susan Quinn of Durant, Iowa, Patrick Quinn of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Timothy Marci Quinn of Osage Beach, Mo., as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Requiem Mass is scheduled Monday, June 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Roswell, Ga. A reception will follow at the Rivermont Golf and Country Club. In lieu of flowers, honorary Masses are preferred.
A wonderful lovely lady. I have fond memories of going with Page to visit her parents. Micki an James as I knew them Mr and Mrs Styles. R.I.P.
