Margaret Ann Rose, age 68 passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at
her home in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on March 10, 1950
in Atlanta to Mary Brady Smith and Jack C. Smith.  She attended College Park
High School, received a Bachelor in English from Peabody College and a Masters
of Human Services Administration from Antioch College. After working in
the mental health field for many years, she changed fields and returned to her
first love, music. She was a devoted teacher and has been teaching piano since
1991. Margaret is survived by her mother, Mary Brady Smith, her sister Kathy Vaughn
and her brother Thomas Smith, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Margaret is also survived by her dog, Blue, for whom she was a loving and devoted
owner. Family and friends are invited to a service in celebration of her life on
Monday, May 14, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Saint John’s Episcopal Church, 3480 East Main
Street, College Park, Georgia. Reception following.
