I am saddened to hear of Lindsey’s passing. I admired her as a person and as a fellow thespian. I send my condolences to her partner, Caren, as well as my empathy. I lost my partner of 25 years, Kathy Wooden, July of 2010, and am slowly healing with the help of family, friends and my dear church, Noblesville First United Methodist. Love is never wrong, never lost or wasted. God is love; He will abide.
Sincerely,
Beth
I knew Lindsey in the late 50’s. Her family moved into a house directly across Hazel Dell. She was a beautiful, slender girl with long hair. We rode the school bus. She was quiet and reserved. Her parents, John and Betty were wonderful neighbors. Betty taught English and Spanish at Noblesville High School. Betty had a deep voice and a wonderful, exuberant laugh. In the early 70’s Betty was the hostess at “Where’s Papa?” in Indy. Her father worked at WFBM TV 6 and later was always directing theatre. He was quiet and very laid-back. I recall brother John as a toddler and later a chef at San Remo. I recall sister Micki as a little girl and later a wonderful waitress at Shaffer’s Fondue Restaurant. After that I lost touch with the family. Recently I have seen their Facebook pages, but my fondest memories are from 50 years ago.
Caren, I am very sorry for your loss. I am sure Lindsey grew into a wonderful person. I’ll bet she was like father.
Rest in Peace Lindsey.
