Kevin Stuart Tomich

Kevin Stuart Tomich,72, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening July 9 at his home in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Kevin was born on March 21, 1951, in Sharon, PA. He attended Hickory High School where he was a football player and graduated in 1969. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Edinboro University. After graduating, he began a long career in civil service for the U.S. Department of Defense, mostly in the Washington D.C. area, culminating at the Center for Army Analysis.
Kevin enjoyed many things in life, most notably the cooking and enjoyment of good food! He had a lifelong love of sports, especially horse racing and football! He was known as a great conversationalist and could talk at length about practically anything! He loved a good joke and loved to make people laugh.
Most of all, Kevin was proud of his two sons, Mark (44) and Keith (43) both of Atlanta, GA. Most recently, he took great joy in seeing his three granddaughters.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Constance (McCormack). He is survived by his brothers Charles, Bradley, and Neal; former wife Carole (Slade); sons Mark and Keith; daughter-in-law Shelley; Keith’s partner Tarek; granddaughters Lucy, Evie, and Julie; multiple nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Nancy Votta and Veronica Ellis, as well as the staff of Atria North Point and Capstone Hospice.
