I will miss my Uncle John dearly. He was such a positive, fun-loving man. Even at his sickest he was still making us laugh. The last words he was able to mutter to me were “don’t be afraid”. My heart breaks for those of us left behind, but rejoices in the new body and freedom he has now- I love you Uncle John.

My brother Gary Little and I are so sad to learn of John’s passing. He was a dear friend of my brother’s. His sister Rebecca was my best friend while they lived in Metropolis, IL. His whole family was loved here in Metropolis while his father served as minister of the First Church of God. I know his family will miss him terribly but will know without a doubt that he is walking the streets of gold in Heaven and celebrating his eternal life with his loving Heavenly Father and his earthly family. God bless you all.

Nina, you, John and the entire family have been on my mind for the past year. Since John contracted Covid and began his battle with the return of his cancer, you were in my thoughts. I hate that I have not seen all of you in such a long time. I always appreciated being a part of the family gatherings, whether it be Thanksgiving, Christmas or another holiday. I always felt at home and grateful for the hospitality. John was definitely the center of it all. I know how much he loved the grandchildren and they felt the same about him. He will be greatly missed by all.
