Joan “Mom” Prosser
Joan Prosser, 76 of Milton, passed away peacefully June 20th 2012. She is survived by her children Sharon, Tom, David and Michael and 7 grandchildren. Joan was feisty, unselfish to a fault and her life’s goal was to take care of others. While she battled multiple diseases for many years, she fought the good battle, never complained, and passed away with dignity and grace: She will be best remembered for her willingness to help anyone in need, along with a great sense of humor; Joan possessed excellent sewing / cooking skills. In general, Joan was a mom to all, and took great pleasure in seeing joy in her children and grand children. Joan served honorably in the Air Force from 1954 to 1956. She had recently earned her 14 year chip at AA where she developed numerous strong relationships over the years. Even as her health declined, she was able to see the humor in things going on around her. A date for her memorial service has not yet been set.
