Jeffrey Lee Hollingsworth of Atlanta passed away on January 24 at the age of 55.
He graduated from Auburn University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and an Open Intramural Welterweight Boxing Champion. He continued to be a loyal Tiger fan after graduation. War Eagle!
Jeff worked in medial sales in the pharmaceutical industry and was awarded top sales rep numerous years. He was a former member, Past President, Secretary and Director of Sandy Springs Jaycees. He was an avid hunter and used his talents as a Local Field Director with the U.S. Sportsman’s Alliance. Most of all Jeff was a strong Christian who maintained a close relationship with God.
Everyone loved Jeff’s outgoing, fun personality. He was always ready with a good one-liner and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be missed forever by many.
His greatest happiness came from his three sons, Jeffrey, Michael and Jake. They were his heart and soul and he loved them greatly.
Survivors include sons, Jeffrey, Michael and Jacob Hollingsworth, of Roswell, GA; parents Lynn and Terry Hollingsworth of Atlanta; sister Jennifer Hollingsworth of Atlanta and brother Lee Hollingsworth of Hood River, OR and many other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honor Jeff and express your love and friendship in a special way, an educational fund has been set up for his sons at Schwab Cumberland Branch 3260 Walton Riverwood Lane, SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 Attn: Nooshin McKinney.     Jeff was one tough kid. I remember many rounds of training and sparring. He never got knocked down.
