Jean P. Allison

Jean P. Allison died peacefully on March 17th, 2021 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, GA at the age of 87.

Jean was preceded in death by her father Randolph Erastus Puckett and mother Ruby Carroll Williams Puckett; her sisters Shirley Ruth Puckett Goldberg and Mamie Gertrude Puckett McNutt; and her husband of 50 years, Roy Carson Allison, Jr.

Jean is survived by her son William (Sandee) Allison of Canton, GA and her daughter Terri (Daniel) Lapwing of McCalla, AL; her grandchildren Robby Allison, Dayna (Jonathan) Robinson, Blair (Katie) Lapwing and Paden (Ashlie) Lapwing; her great-grandchildren Conrad Robinson, Mary Jane Lapwing, Indigo Lapwing and Tegan Lapwing; and her nieces, her nephews and other relatives.

Jean developed a successful career as a Human Resources Specialist retiring from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 1999. She was an extraordinarily creative person with varied talents from beautiful painting to professional event planning. She was a generous individual who loved and took care of her family and friends. Jean was passionate about serving her community beginning as a teenager in Rainbow Girls, a myriad of booster club positions as a parent and she frequently volunteered for groups that serve veterans and children.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
