James A. Noble
James Allen Noble age 70 of Decatur GA & formerly of Wetumpka, AL died July 1, 2010 surrounded by his wife and children. James was born in Atlanta, GA, June 29, 1940 to Hilda & Allen Noble. They moved to Wetumpka, AL in 1958 where James completed high school and attended Auburn University. After collage he spent several years working in the Elmore County Tax Assessors office. He moved to Montgomery, AL in 1971 where he met his devoted wife of 38 years, Donna Gregory Noble. James went into specialized sales which allowed he & his family to be transferred many times until he and his family returned to Atlanta in 1977 where James opened Creative Marking, Inc. until retirement in 2001.
James was a devoted family man, an avid hunter, fisherman and a champion Texas Holdem player. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Donna, daughter and son in-law Lisa & Kenny Blackmon of Wetumpka, AL, son and daughter in-law Mike & Lorri Noble, of Wetumpka, AL and daughter Heather Garger of Newnan, Ga., sister & brother in-law Linda and John Lange of Jackson, MS, six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 600 Mountain View Dr. Stone Mountain, GA 30083. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to either The AFLAC Cancer & Blood Disorder Clinic associated with Children’s Healthcare 1687 Tullie Circle NE, Atlanta, GA 30329 or the Epilepsy Foundation at
