Ida Joyce Rascoe

“Mrs. Ida Joyce Rascoe, age 80, of Conyers Ga passed away April 27, 2013 at Westbury Health and Rehab of Conyers. She was born in Columbus, Ga October 13, 1932, daughter of the late George Curtis Screws and Ora Evelyn Screws. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph William Rascoe. She is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Rick and Rita Melville, Mike and Kim Rascoe, Jeff Rascoe and daughter Karen Renew, Sister Mary Ann Lynch and brother-in-law Ron, and Brother-in-law George Rascoe and wife Dorothy, four grandsons: Joe Rascoe, Tim Rascoe, Jonathan Melville, and Sam Miller, two granddaughters Missy Rascoe and Holly Reeves, and seven great grandchildren. Her remains were cremated and a family memorial service will be held in Columbus, Ga at a later date, with Pastor Frank Pendly performing the service. In lieu of flowers or cards, donations may be made in her name to Rockdale Special Olympics or a Parkinson’s research group of your choice.
