Originally from St. Louis, MO, he is survived by his sons, Martin Grotsky (Beverly) and Michael Henderson; sister-in-law, Joyce Cox, Springfield, IL; granddaughter, Laina Rose Grotsky.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion Post 66, 30 Covington Ave., Avondale Estates, GA 30002.

    I’m so sorry for the loss of my Uncle he will be deeply missed, he was one of 3 brothers, proceeding him in death him being the oldest following him my dad Dave Jack Grotsky and his youngest brother Bennie Richard Grotsky. Mother Fannie (Rose) (Grotsky) Fishbein and father Melvin Grotsky & beloved wife Carmen Grotsky. He had a 2 half sisters, Elelen and Ginny Gloria and a half brother Hearold. He had many nieces and nephews who loved him as well. I will hold dearly the trip I made to visit him and going to Stone Mountain they were the best memories.

    Harmon was my favorite Legionnaire. We worked bingo together for years and volunteered at the USO. He kept me laughing the whole time. We had interesting conversations. He will be greatly missed.

    I found Harmon on the internet as my mother in law was a Grotsky He helped me so much and sent me pictures .I had talked with Carmen and I did her genealogy ..I will sure miss him
