Georgia Rousseau of Suwanee, Georgia passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on November 4, 2022. She graduated from the College of the Pacific in 1952 and became a teacher. She met the
love of her life, Daniel Rousseau, and they married in 1957. She is survived by children Christopher (Debra) Rousseau of Roswell, Steven (Janice) Rousseau of Suwanee, and Valerie Richards of Lula as well as grandchildren Samuel, Danielle, Amelia, and Thomas. She is also survived by her sister Janet (Alan) Kruse of Bend, Oregon, cousin Brooks Finnely of San Laredo, California and many nieces and nephews. Georgia was predeceased by her husband in 2010.

Georgia was passionate about art and music. She was an accomplished painter and participated in numerous art organizations, exhibitions, and shows. She won many awards and enjoyed
sharing her talents with others. Georgia sang in choral and madrigal groups and played the guitar and dulcimer.

A memorial service will be held Sunday November 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Suwanee. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
