Gayla Jill Huff

Gayla Jill Huff, 75, of Lilburn, Georgia peacefully passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. Gayla was born in Vincennes, Indiana on August 13,1948. Gayla is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Carlton Albert Huff; parents, Ulla T. & Helen V. Musgrave; siblings, Van & Victoria Musgrave; sons, Jimmy McCleskey & Randle Huff. Gayla is survived by her children, Lisa Wilson, Johnny (Ester)Huff & Jillyn McCleskey; daughters-in-law, Marla Huff & Terri McCleskey; grandchildren, Lori Cain, Carl & Albert Huff, John Travis Huff, Josie Mitchell, Hunter & Walker McCleskey, Michael Matthews, Annalyn Cauley & Caitlyn Entrekin; nephews, Steven (Mia) Musgrave, Eric (Marcie) Musgrave, Matthew Musgrave; and 14 great grandchildren. Gayla was an active member of HGUMC for 40 years. She was a member of the UM Women’s group, the Upper Room SS class, and she taught for the HGUMC Pre-K. Retiring from the Lilburn Post Office after 25 years of service, she enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with her family. Gayla will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, 50 Harmony Grove Road Lilburn, GA 30047. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Pre-K program at HGUMC.
