To Evie’s family – I have known and worked with Evie in Martha Stewart Bulloch NSDAR since 2009. We all LOVED Evie!! She was a dedicated and faithful member of DAR for 72 years! That is longer than than many of our chapter members have been alive! She was truly a remarkable woman, and a role model for younger members. We always looked forward to her reports, as she knew how to make any subject truly interesting, and always left us laughing at the same time. She had a really tough sales pitch for the DAR cookbooks, and again, she always left us laughing when she pitched it.

Our hearts go out to you. As much as we loved Evie, it is evident that she would have been a remarkable mother. May God comfort you during this time. Please let me know about funeral arrangements, as many of us would like to be there to honor Evie, the ultimate DAR lady!
