Edith Sue Henderson

Sue Ingle Henderson went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4th. She was born to Edythe and Dave Ingle on February 8, 1931 in Lincolnton NC. They moved to Smyrna, GA when she was twelve where she attended First Baptist Church and accepted Christ as her Savior in Vacation Bible School.
She graduated from Smyrna High School, married and had three daughters, Georgia Neese, Mary Jane Lewis and Marsha Lewis Turner Snyder Turner, two grandsons, Brent Dana and Spencer Debbie Turner and two” greats,” Katelyn and Cameron Turner.
In her later years she moved to Conyers and Stone Mountain where she was actively involved in her church and it’s outreach ministries. She later moved back to Smyrna and resided at Elmcroft at Milford Chase.
A kind and caring spirit and an understanding heart that ministered to others were her virtues.
Music and the arts were gifts she cherished– from listening to her antique Victrola to playing the piano and even performing in the Atlanta Ballet. She found great joy in her church, family, friends and her loving pets.
She trusted the Lord and gave Him respect and gratitude. She testified to His mercy, grace and forgiveness being present in every season of her life. She was gentle, meek and kind and loved to the end. She fought a good fight, and now she has seen Him face to face.
“Sweet Sue, just you, in this heart of mine, you live all the time, Sweet Sue…Just you”!
Rest in His arms Mom, you will live in our hearts for all time….
