Dorothy B. Russell

Dorothy Burnham Russell, 89, of Grayson, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 29, 2012. Her devoted husband, Robert Russell, was at her side.
She was a native of Atlanta and was retired from American Mutual Insurance Company after 40 years of service. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling, taking care of her home, and helping her husband in their garden.
She was the daughter of the late George G. Burnham, Sr. and Christine Aughtman Burnham. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Robert Jones Russell of Grayson, sister, Mary Jo Holly of Villa Rica, sister, Marjorie Slaymaker of Charleston, S.C., brother, William C. Burnham, Sr. of Palmetto, and numerous nephews and nieces.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 4 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Christian Fellowship 1985 Old Fountain Road Lawrenceville, Georgia, Rev. William C. Burnham Jr., officiating.
