Deborah Ann White
Deborah Ann (Fleming) White, was born in Richmond Virginia on May 2, 1953, to the union of Dallas and Elizabeth (Tompkins) Fleming. Their family moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1954.
Deborah was a bundle of joy from the very beginning and continued to be throughout her rest of her life. From an early age and on into her teenage years she enjoyed reading, movies, music, singing, roller skating, and good friends. Deborah attended Christian Fenger High School and graduated in June 1971. After high school, her focus shifted to automobile repair and hairstyling. Deborah attended Kennedy-King College where she studied Auto Mechanics and later attended Wilfred Beauty Academy to study cosmetology.
Deborah became a mother of one (1) before entering college, where she then met and married Carl White Sr. and together they went on to have two (2) children. In December of 2012, she moved to Georgia to be with her eldest daughter and grandchildren where she lived out the rest of her life. Deborah was very outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, entertaining and even hilarious at times. She was a strong, yet kind person and her magnetic personality drew people to her, allowing her to develop friendships wherever she went. Our family was blessed to have shared their lives with her. She will be missed and we will never be the same without her.
Deborah was predeceased by her father Dallas Fleming, her husband Carl White Sr., sister-in-law Jesse Stanley and mother-in-law Beatrice White. She is survived by her Children: Luciana Jeffers (Derec), Carla White, and Carl White, Jr. Grandchildren: Ashley Handley, Martia Jackson, and Annette Marie Henson. Great Grandchild: Journi Marie Brown, Mother: Elizabeth Fleming, Siblings: Jeanette Fleming Jefferson (Vernon), Isaac Fleming (Clotel), Nieces Etoyea Fleming, Yvette Drummer, Kenneshia Drummer, Suelester Jenkins. Nephews Sonica Drummer, Valentino Davis and lifelong friends Nancy Reeves and Sabra Brown, as well as a host of other family members and friends too numerous to name.

Although it’s been quite sometime since I’ve seen Deborah, she has never left my heart. But I believe she is in God’s memory who has the power to bring her back to life in his righteous new world. After which there will be no more sickness nor death- Rev. 21:3,4.
Yes she will be dearly missed, but not for long.

I only met Deborah on her job. She was always calm, polite with a smile when she served me and her other customers. I never forgot that. I hope her family and friends be comforted now and in the days ahead by our Almighty God Jehovah who listens and answers our prayers personally. My sympathy to the family.

My girl, my Dear Sister and friend…. I’m so sorry you are gone. I love you Sis. I hope to see you again real soon, but until then I miss you very much. I loved you from the moment we met and we both had a “big” love for music. I thought I knew every R&B Artist there ever was since I was born way back when(Lol)….but, you introduced me to a star and his name is “Will Downing ” and his album you introduced me to is “Moods”. What a treasure !! So since I heard of your going to sleep….the only thing I’ve been doing is listening to his music and thinking of you. I love his “Fly Higher, Don’t talk to me like that way, Inseparable, Heaven Sent, Sorry, I…. Here’s that Rainy Day, We’ll be together again…..and so on. I’m so happy I had the pleasure of meeting you and having you in my life. To Marcie and girls…. you’re doing an amazing job showing off your beautiful “Mom”. I’m praying š for strength, encouragement and comfort for the family. Love y’all !!
So sorry my prayers are with the family we are family sending love may Jehovah be with you
