Carol Jean Randolph, 72, was born in Blytheville Arkansas on October 16, 1952 to Delois M. Goodlow and Johnny B. Carter. She grew up in Blytheville and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School and Blythvillie Public Schools. After growing up, she moved to Tacoma, Washington for several years and afterwards, she moved to Atlanta and lived there for over 30 years until the time of her death.

She was blessed with four children John L.. Smith Jr., LaChella L. Boson, Mark L. Payne, and Zanetta Y. Walton.

Carol worked in several areas of the workforce.  She worked in elder care, house and church beautification, and law enforcement.  Some of her most cherished interests were animals, art, drafting, and of course, true crime. She had a funny sense of humor, was outspoken, energetic, and was quite candid. She gave her life to Christ in her adult years and enjoyed several ministries such as Oral Roberts, Jimmy Swaggart, Joseph Z, and Rick Renner. She departed this life on April 28, 2025 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband,  Leonard J.Randolph Jr., her parents, Delois M. Goodlow- Heard and Johnny B. Carter, her son Mark L. Payne, daughter, Zanetta Y. Walton, and her brother, Kent B. Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son John Lee Smith Jr.,(Monica), of Pine Bluff,  Arkansas, her daughter, LaChella Lynn Boson, of Muskogee, Oklahoma,  five grandchildren,  Rajon Leonard, Darious Boson, Samuel Boson, Xavier Smith and Zoe Smith, her brothers Simuel B. Bell of Lawton, Oklahoma, Herbert E. Posley, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, hers sisters, Winifred K. Mobley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Phyllis E. Griffin (Willie) of Muskogee, Oklahoma, one cherished aunt, Claudine Goodlow of Saint Louis, Missouri, a host of nieces and nephews, and her loving extended family at the Marian Senior Apartment Community in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be loved and missed by all.
