Bruce E. Ferguson

Bruce Eugene Ferguson, 81, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia , died peacefully in his sleep April 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife of of 55 years, Mary Elizabeth Ferguson; daughter, Jane Ferguson Stewart; daughter and son in law, Beth and Mark Frank; son and daughter in law, Jim and Allison Ferguson; and six beloved grandchildren, all of the Atlanta area; two sisters and brothers in law, Nancy and John Close of Monaca, PA; and Betty and Carl Gussenhoffen of Beaver, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bruce received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Thiel College in Greenville, PA and his Masters in Retailing from University of Pittsburgh. He served in the Korean War and retired from IBM after 33 years of service.

A memorial service will be held on April 28 at 2pm at Chamblee First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chamblee First United Methodist Church, 4147 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee, GA 30341. www.chambleeumc.org
