Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Milburn, Laura, Emily, Erin, & Zachary Michael says:

Remembering happy times with Grandpa Lucas and appreciating his kindness to us all. May he rest in peace. Sending our thoughts and prayers for Grandma Lucas, Nina, and family. Love to all.

  2. Becka Lucas says:

When I was very little, maybe 3 or 4 years old, Grandma and Grandpa Lucas gave me a book of children’s poetry. It had illustrations of mice taking shelter from the rain under toadstools, and piglets in night dresses who didn’t want to go to sleep. It is the first book I actually remember, and nearly 30 years later still have. There is no doubt that that early introduction to the written word had a great impact and I am thankful for their kindness so long ago.
