Guestbook

  1. Jacquie Slead says:

To my mom and dear friend, I loved you from the first time we met. You welcomed me into your family with open arms and called me your own. You touched my life in such a special way and will always be in my heart. We shared so many great memories; family gatherings, vacations, major life events, weekends, holidays, celebrations and years of fun and laughter. You showered your family with love and spoiled us all with your thoughtfulness. Your warm spirit and beautiful smile always lit up a room. You never met a stranger and brought joy to the lives of so many people that were fortunate enough to cross your path. I will treasure the memory of all those long phone conversations…the way you teased me…the crazy things you said and did. Your love for your grandkids was immeasurable and all of them adored you. You would have loved your great grandkids so much had you known them but I know that you will always be a part of them and your legacy lives on in all the stories we will share with them. We are comforted in knowing that you will be watching over all of us and you can now carry all these memories with you until we meet again. What a party that will be! Love you forever, love you for always…Jacquie

  2. Kathy Jennings says:

I only met you once or twice many years ago when I went out for lunch with you and Jacquie, and what a hoot you were! You were so funny, we cracked up the entire time! I know you are up there watching over all your family. Love and prayers to Jacquie, Greg, Donny and all the Sleads at this sad time. Love, Kathy Jennings

Barbra you were so sweet and personable, although it was my desire to make Lori my wife it just never workout for us but rest assure you Donny and Lori were always in my mind. Lori I know you miss your mother as we all do but not like you it’s hard missing a friend and a mom. Hugs, Stuart.
