Rest, Patrick. You were a bright spot in my day for much too short a time. I’ll remember you singing my misheard Michael Jackson lyrics. You clearly enjoyed them more than the actual lyrics, since you broke out into dance. Looking forward to laughing with you again. ???

Patrick I am still speechless and words cannot explain how my heart is torn into pieces. I’ll never forget when you resigned from AGA moving on to bigger and better things I told you I would miss you and you said no you want because I’ll always ave a special place in your heart. Love you P. Light!

To Patrick’s friends, I share your grief and would like to organize a celebration of his life. Please let me know if you are interested in participating and how I can contact you. Your names are very familiar to me — Patrick spoke of you often and treasured your friendship.

These days one can’t say this about too many people but Patrick was truly a fine Southern gentleman! We had great fun talking “Georgia History” and telling ancestor tales. Patrick had many friends at Unity North Atlanta. Our LGBTQ group had a little ceremony to honor his memory and now have a maple tree to remind us of the happy times Craig and Patrick spent at Unity. I see you smiling, Patrick! Miss you lots. Nita

Oh Patrick, the last service I sat next to you and you rested your head on my shoulder. I really loved your tenderness and quiet strength. You were soft spoken and kind. I miss you and Craig. See you in awhile sweet friend

  15. Victoria Reddington says:

Hi, Patrick. I recently heard of this sad news and it hurts my heart to know that you’re gone and I didn’t get the chance to say bye. I know you’re at peace. Althea and I were talking about reaching out to you months ago… I thought of you often and I’ll never forget you😘❤

  16. Lillian says:

Pat, I wish I had gotten to know you in high school. God willing, we will meet again, and this time, we will be friends. I will pray for you.
