Heidi Haas, 75, of Roswell, GA, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. Born Heidi Schuessler on September 24, 1949, in Oak Park, IL, to Willard and Shirlee (Larsen) Schuessler, Heidi lived a vibrant and fulfilling life marked by love, creativity, and an unwavering zest for life’s beauty.
Heidi attended Loyola University – Chicago and built a distinguished career as a Sales Executive in the Legal Publishing industry with Wolters Kluwer, retiring in 2021. Her professional journey took her to Palatine, IL; Evansville, IN; Atlanta, GA; Pittsburgh, PA; Greensboro, NC; and back to the Chicago area before settling in Roswell, GA.
Heidi’s passions were as diverse as they were inspiring. An accomplished pianist, she filled her home with music. Her love for travel brought her to cherished destinations like Paris, France, and Florence, Italy. She found joy in gardening, interior design, luxury fashion, handbags, fine art, and seeking out unique antiques. Her generous spirit, keen eye, and infectious enthusiasm touched everyone around her. Heidi shared a profound bond with her husband, Richard Haas, her partner, best friend, and love. Together, they experienced every conceivable human emotion, weaving a lifetime of memories enriched by her laughter, joy, and fun. Heidi’s proudest achievement was the success of her grandson, Keller Wilson, 20, who brought purpose and youthful energy to her life when it mattered most. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Wednesday Wilson (1977–2013).
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, GA, on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 6:30 PM, followed by a reception at the Haas residence in Roswell. Interment will be held privately at Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell, GA, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at noon.
