Gail Ann Finnie

Mrs. Gail Finnie, age 65, of Lithonia Georgia passed away November 2nd, 2012. Mrs. Finnie was formally a resident of Fort Payne, Al and attended Auburn University. Mrs. Finnie and her husband were former owners of Continental Coffee and Sweets in Stone Mountain. She was a wife, a mother of two, and a grandmother to 6 girls. She was loved by every one that knew her. She had such a great smile and a great personality and was just always so fun to be around. Some of her favorite activities were hanging out with her grandkids, watching Auburn football, and making jewelry. She was a kind and giving person. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Finnie, her son Michael Finnie, daughter Michelle Nubian Booker. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cylver Finnie, Akilah Booker, Angeline Booker, Sariah Booker, Danae Booker, and Sa’meer Booker; niece Nikki Don Eddins, nephews Charles Mosling and Richard Mosling and a host of cousins. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Wednesday November 7th at 4:00. The memorial will be held at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church located at 6740 James B. Rivers Drive in Stone Mountain, Georgia 770.469.8551. The family also asks that if floral arrangements are sent to the family, that the flowers are Sunflowers, which were her favorite.
