Angel Lee Gersbacher, a resident of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 5,
2025, at the age of 65.

Born in Hawkinsville and raised in Forest Park, Georgia, Angel graduated from Georgia
Southern College in 1982 with a B.A. in Accounting. She worked as a CPA for 39 years.

Angel was married to Jim Gersbacher for 41 wonderful years. Together, they traveled to 4
continents, 7 countries, and 40 U.S. states—over 500,000 miles side by side. Their shared
love for Jesus Christ was the foundation of their life together.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Gersbacher; her sister, Tricia Watts, and Tricia’s
husband, Paul Watts. She was a loving aunt to:

She was an aunt to many, but Anch to all who knew and loved her.

    Angel was Jim’s world. They both have been wonderful friends since Jim’s Navy days. They helped us so much over the years; beyond anything I could have asked. She truly had the perfect first name and Jim was lucky and proud she took his last. Rest in Peace.
