To my brother Bill’s family, So terribly saddened to hear of Bill’s passing but thankful he didn’t have to suffer any longer. I know his last few years weren’t very easy for him, but so glad for the times we were able to get together these last few years. What wonderful memories I have- as a little girl of 4 or 5 traveling to Washington, D,C, to see my big brother marching with his unit in parades, grandpa and grandma were so proud! After service he moved home and then enrolled in St. Bonaventure Univ. I think he wanted to become a dentist, but that was not to be as he got married and started his family as did MaryAnn , Johnny and Betty. We had get togethers all the time at Grandma and Grandpa’s. and of course Grand ma always had food on the table and her famous chocolate cake. Such wonderful family memories when everyone lived in Elmira. I wish we could be there for you to say our goodbyes, but I know we’ll all be together again some day and right now he’s in the arms of our heavenly Father , Grandpa , Grandma, Aunt MaryAnn and Aunt Betty and that sustains me. Love you all Aunt Joan and Family
