During that time, Virginia was librarian in the LaGrange City School System and the Library Consultant for Tri-County Shared Systems. Upon returning to Rome, she served as Librarian for West Rome High School until her retirement. A long-standing active member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Rome, Virginia was also extensively involved with Needlework Associations throughout the South East.
