Peggy was born August 16, 1932 in Fort Worth Texas. She was baptized at East Berry Street Baptist Church, and graduated from Robert Lee Paschal High School in Fort Worth on May 25, 1950. She married the love of her life, Dick Jackson, on October 21, 1955. While all four children were born in Texas, the family moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1973, where Peggy became the world’s biggest Atlanta Braves fan. She was a dedicated wife and mother, seamstress, den mother, library volunteer, league bowler, dance costume maker, furniture re-upholsterer, crossword puzzle solver, joke teller, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy watcher, dog lover, wise counselor, spiritual advisor, fierce friend, and most loyal cheerleader any of her children ever had.

The family is grateful for the prayers, condolences, and memories you’ve shared with us. Our lives are richer because of you. Thank you.
