My sweet Dad, Kenny Brookshire, was born in Boston, Kentucky and moved to Louisville when he was about 12 years old. He was a very talented musician, playing in bands for his whole life and working at General Electric Appliance Park until his retirement in 1994. He loved to travel and spend time in nature too. He has five children and four grandchildren. He suffered from Alzheimers for several years so I brought him here to be able to take closer care of him.
He will be missed and I am happy that he is at peace now. This obituary has the date of his passing wrong..he died on March 22, 2011.
