Kenneth Wayne Stegall of Atlanta, GA was born August 16, 1943. Ken grew up in a wonderful and loving family in Garland, Texas, and was the only son of Edmond and Josie Stegall. Ken attended Texas A&M University where he earned a degree in Economics and Finance. During college, he discovered his gift of singing and was part of the LeTourneau gospel quartet, performing and touring across the United States. Ken’s professional career with Pactiv Corporation began in the 1970’s. Throughout his 30-plus years with Pactiv, he created many amazing friendships and enjoyed an immense amount of professional success as a National Sales Manager for the organization. One of Ken’s proudest professional achievements was organizing Pactiv’s support of the Fisher House, a service that provides educational scholarships and housing for military families, allowing them to remain close to their loved ones who are hospitalized due to injury or illness. Ken had many passions in life including travel, singing, restoring cars, and enjoying amazing meals with family and friends. Ken was a loving husband to Judy, a proud father to Sherry, Richard (Melissa), David and Christa (Sam) and grandfather to Court, Connor, Gabe, Karter and Emersyn. Ken departed this life Tuesday, July 18, after a long and brave battle with cancer. His friends and family are comforted by his immense love of the Lord and the knowledge that he is at peace in Heaven. A beautiful celebration of Ken’s life will be held Sunday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m., located at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, GA. Donations in Ken Stegall’s honor may be made to Peachtree Christian Church and designated to the Ministry of Music.
