Guestbook

  1. Janet & Gray Upchurch says:

    Erik, Shannon and family,
We were so sorry to learn of your father’s passing. Gerald came by my shop about a week before he passed. He was very weak and I was very worried about him. Whenever he visited he always talked about you, Erik, and your family. He loved you very much and I hope you realize how much you meant to him. We will miss his visits. He has now found peace.

  2. Frank Hancock says:

I remember Mike from High School. We ran together shared our futures and our goals. He is like the friend that is always there and you pick up where you left off on your last visit. About a year ago Mike called and told me he was going to take me up on an offer to come down and visit. He never showed and I lost his phone number. When I looked for him on the Inter Net I found him listed as deceased. I contacted another of our friends and he our other friend, Cam Mullinax, found it to be true. Mike passed in his sleep alone. Mike, was a man who loved his son, and was living a hard life. He had been a chiroprator and I was told lost his practice. The next time we met up he was researved in that he was now a security guard. Mike took this hard all the way to his quiet lonely death. As a friend of over 50 years I still have great memories. His success going up to becoming a Chiropractor. I helped him set up his X-Ray room and then re-wire his office. I went to Road Atlanta and watched a race that he had an intrest in one of the cars being raced. We shared quite a few memories. He will be missed. He will know longer be available to talk with, I will just remember him as a very close friend. Rest in Peace and look down and know that you were never an embarasment to me , only a great person and great friend.
    Frank Hancock
