It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) John
Morris, 52, of Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Born on January 2,
1973, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Della
Price Morris and John H. Morris, III.

Mike was a cherished brother to Teresa Morris Cowherd of Gainesville, Georgia,
and to Lorie Morris O’Neill and husband, Tom, of Roswell, Georgia. He was a
proud uncle to Aline O’Neill and Maggie O’Neill, both of Roswell.

A talented musician, Mike was a passionate and vibrant member of the Atlanta
music scene. He will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and the genuine
love he shared with everyone who knew him.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Aisle 5 in the
Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta. Doors will open at 5:00pm. The
evening will feature plenty of Mike’s favorite music, and a microphone will be
available to share memories.

Mike will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of
knowing him.

Memorial donations may be made in Mike’s honor to Nuçi’s Space, 396 Oconee
St, Athens, GA 30601.

    From the day met you at baseball practice in elementary school, you always had a gravitational spirit about you. My memories with you are surrounded by laughter, funny memories, and always love.
