I am saddened by the passing of Ms. Betty; she was indeed a gem. I always looked forward to her phone call on Monday mornings to ask me if I wanted a Martin’s biscuit, as she would stop there on the way to her volunteer work at The Palms! That’s why I nicknamed her “The Biscuit Lady”! She also would always give me an Easter chocolate pop she had made in the form of a rabbit or chickie! She made me feel special, when in fact, she was the special one! I am honored to have known her, and I will truly miss her. May God give you comfort during this time, and may your memories sustain you. Rest In Peace, dear Betty.
